In Numbers 35:30-34, God commands that murderers must not be allowed a lesser sentence than the death penalty; a nation who ignores this command will be polluted with blood guilt and risk losing God’s blessing. There are Scriptural exceptions to the general rule of “Thou shalt not kill.” It is necessary to defend yourself from corrupt killers.
