Pharaoh defies the LORD’s command and insists on being the Israelites’ god. The world will never stop trying to grab Christians and hold on to them and hold them down and make them their slaves. But they only can hold on if Christians hold on to their Egypts and Pharaohs. To hold on to God, you have to let go of the world.
