Topical sermon based on the Westminster Larger Catechism question and answer 151, ‘What are those aggravations that make some sins more heinous than others?’ (Answer Sub Section 3, “From the nature and quality of the offence”).

In Numbers 15:30-31, God holds the sins of arrogance as worse than the sins of ignorance, with more severe punishments. Don’t ignore God’s Holy Commandments. Be committed sons of God, and don’t break your family commitments. God warns you not to rebel like spiritual bastards, but instead repent. Let God’s warnings lead you to humble, sanctified restraint. Don’t Take God for Granted.
