As we continue to study the first part of the sixth heptad (group of seven), God goes out of His way to speak directly and directs John to make sure to write it down that what He has to say to Christians about heaven is true and faithful. He will indeed dwell with them in a New Heaven and a New Earth as promised throughout all the Old and New Testaments.
