The sin offering confesses personal and communal guilt for breaking God’s commands, even by ignorance and negligence; and it provides atoning forgiveness for those who make the offering.

God offers you forgiveness for your sins by providing an offering for your sins. You receive God’s forgiveness by trusting in the Lamb of God to be your sin offering. Jesus Christ bears for you what your sins deserve: punishment because you are guilty. Your Sins Are Forgiven.
