Jesus says the ones who are called children of God are offering the peace of their Father to others.

Peacemaking is not keeping the peace at all costs, which really just leads to war. Peacemaking actively reconciles at great personal cost, which alone creates real peace. God made you His sons of peace at the cost of His Own Son, the Prince of Peace. Peacemakers Enjoy the Prince’s Peace.
