Jesus says that His would-be followers need to count their costs and not be too quick nor too slow to commit.

Count the short-term costs of closely serving Jesus. Count the cost so your commitment lasts in the long-run. Also, count the expense of your discipleship costs and compare them with your rewards. Count the Cost and Commit to Christ.
