Nehemiah

This is an exegetical series through the book of Nehemiah. It takes note of his extraordinary leadership qualities as a type of Christ rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem for the city to be there when Jesus the Messiah would come there to be crucified and raised from the dead. Immediately we see though he is a man of action, he first gives himself to prayer to be prepared and proceed. And he continues to pray throughout enormous opposition and unto the end, giving all glory to God.
