As the seventh seal is opened and the third heptad (group of sevens) opens into the seven trumpets, everyone’s breath is taken away, as it were, as they gaze on what God is about to do and is doing: their natural response is that of holy, reverent, quiet contemplation on God’s righteous rule in this world.
