God’s people should have a filial fear of Him and a need for His Mediator to communicate His commands to them. Direct contact with a holy God will bring you death as an unholy people. Thus you have a need for a mediator between you and God to communicate and live. Jesus Christ is your only Mediator with God, and it includes hearing how to live life. Christ’s Mediation is for You to Live and Live for the LORD.
