Now that the LORD has Israel standing in silent attention, He prepares them to receive His Law not only in the context of holy fear and proper duty, but love, freedom, and relationship. Jesus rescued you from the house of sinful slavery. Jesus restored you into His Father’s holy house of freedom. Jesus saved you to live for Him. And you live for Jesus because you love Him. Love Saves and Love Obeys.
