In the third “antithesis” of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus rejects the focus of the Scribes and Pharisees on divorce rights and He majors on marriage.

The divorce exception should prove the marriage rule. The sanctity of marriage must rule over divorce deviations. Marriage is Meant to be Permanent.
