Means to Keep from Sinning 2
Grant Van Leuven
We continue with Thomas Watson’s study of the second part of the sixth petition of the Lord’s Prayer, “And deliver us from evil,” finishing the means to use to be kept from acts of sin, 9-13 of 13: (9) be diligent in a calling (Such as lively idly, expose themselves to sin. If we have no work to do, Satan will find us work.); (10) fix the eye of your mind upon the ‘beauty of holiness’; (11) meditate frequently on death; (12) beware of a covetous heart; (13) be much in prayer to God.
