Topical sermon based on the Westminster Larger Catechism question and answer 149, ‘Is any man able perfectly to keep the commandments of God?’

In Ecclesiastes 7:20 we see that the preacher has lived and observed that no person has ever done good enough because their works are marred by sin; he concludes this is all due to the fact that they have lost original righteousness. Every human being is a sinner, including you. The evidence of everyone’s life demands a verdict of ‘guilty sinner’, including yours. Guilty people cannot say they are good, nor be with an infinitely good God in heaven. Nothing Short of Perfection Will Do.
