Pastors Must Persevere

As Christ concludes His ordination sermon commissioning His apostles to go preach His kingdom gospel to God’s Church, He prepares them (and future ministers preaching their doctrine) to expect extreme resistance; and He calls them to carry on by moving on until they find worthy receivers to build up and build with.

Jesus will have your pastors properly prepared to minister to you. So Jesus will have your pastors prepared to face ongoing persecution in their ministry. And Jesus will have your pastors prepared to persevere for and with those who want their ministry. Jesus will have your pastors be purposeful by focusing on Christ’s ultimate purpose.
