Raise Your Kids as Christians

This sermon was preached as a part two of two series on the occasion of the baptism of the Church’s newest covenant child, David Noah Delgado.

Ephesians 6:4: After Paul tells the Church’s children how to live under their parents’ direction so they enjoy God’s blessings in their lives, he tells the Church’s parents how to direct their children to live and bless their lives: parents are to see that their children grow up holy and happy through Christian discipleship and discipline.

As Christian parents, your job is to cultivate Christian growth in your children. To help your children grow in Christ and His Church, you must disciple them. To help your children grow in Christ and His Church, you must discipline them. If you do not disciple and discipline your children, you stunt their Christian growth.
