Jesus Has Plenty of Grace

All nations had to go through Joseph to survive the famine, for he alone had harvested plenty. This is a type of Jesus as the only way to heaven, Whose Father’s storehouses are filled to overflowing with grace and mercy that can never be used up by His elect who exchange their filthy righteousnesses for His righteousness.

Scriptures that were passed over in the notes that are helpful to have in mind for this sermon are:

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.” (Isaiah 55:1-2)

“I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” (Revelation 3:18)
