The Time is at Hand

More on the Millennium continued (Pt. 4 and the final study on this topic). We continue with a “parenthesis” in Revelation 20 to study the millennium from an a-millennial or “realized millennial” interpretation, by use of excerpts mainly from Jay Adams’ book, The Time is At Hand. Tonight, we particularly look at a systematic study of the Scriptures that prove the Millennial Kingdom was inaugurated as “at hand” in the first coming of Christ, and will be consummated at His second coming, to demonstrate again that we are presently in the millennium or “thousand year” reign of Christ from heaven until He finishes the advancement of His Kingdom on earth and then comes back to reign over it forever in Person. Jay Adams explains, ” … a synopsis of what the Scriptures … teach, may be put into one sentence: Christ now rules over all things as Messiah from the right hand of God–a place of power and majesty in heaven–and will continue to do so until all his enemies are destroyed.”
